Catching up

Vacation has been over for 3 weeks now and I have yet to post pics =) Honestly I was a little busy to take too many, but I did get a few. The wedding went off beautifully, all 4 flights went well, and I made it home safe and sound albeit a tad exhausted =) It was a good week, and it was nice being gone from work that long =) Not that I don't LOVE my job mind you =p

Me, Clanney, and Steph before the wedding rush began

The Beautiful Bride - isn't she lovely?? =)

My hair all done up "purty" =)
(Which... as you can tell in the picture at the top...I came home and chopped off =p)
(Oh, and the girls got me to wear lipstick! =D)

Life has been incredibly busy since I got back, and work has gotten pretty busy too. I have been doing all of my mother's secretarial work at the church as well as my own work there. So between those things, church activities, a full-time job, family, and running, I am plenty busy. Which makes it a good thing that I like to be busy =) The running is doing it's intended work though-that and changing my eating some is helping me slowly but surely drop the pounds. Yay!!

Baker is growing so fast! I know I have said it before, but he really is a good baby. He is venturing out in his eating, and it won't be long before he is eating adult food. He knows what food is and stares at it longingly =p He's an absolute joy to have around.

Playing with Hannah =) He was soooo tired, but he was all smiles for her =)

About 4 weeks ago now we put Grandpa in a Nursing Home. As hard as it was, it was time. We go often to see him, and today Mom and Dad even took Mylaeka to see him. =) His eyes light up when he sees me, and we sit and talk about nothing =) He especially loves to see Baker. Please continue to pray for Grandpa and Mom as she makes decisions and adjusts.

Dad is scheduled to have another ablation on his heart the 24th of November. They think that this time should take care of the problems for good, and that in time he will be able to go off of all the medications he has been on for a year and a half now. Please pray with us as this comes up.

Mom turns 50 next week! She seems to be dreading it just a bit, but I think mainly because she's afraid of what he has up his sleeve. But I can tell you that he has NOTHING up his sleeve whatsoever ;p

Mike and Kris are coming home next week!! Woo hoo!!! I am looking forward to seeing them and the 4 munchkins =) I need some up to date pictures with them too =)

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I can't believe how fast October went, and November is going to be the same it would seem. =) As we approach the holidays, don't forget the real reason we celebrate them. And don't forget that Thanksgiving isn't just a day off of work - it's a day to reflect on the many bountiful things that we have to be thankful to God for! =)

See ya again soon! =)
