Change is good. Sometimes =P

I enjoy being creative with my blog. I like for it to be a reflection of me and my personality. I don't change it really often, but definitely for Thanksgiving and Christmas and sometimes the Seasons.

I LOVE the Christmas season. And I love Christmas songs. This year I added a few different songs to my playlist, as well as left some from last year on there. "Oh Holy Night" by Celtic Woman is simply beautiful. I LOVE "I want a hippo for Christmas". It makes me smile, and every time I hear it I think of my dad. =) This year I added "Grandma got run over by a reindeer". I don't really know why, but this song makes me smile. It just does. =P And "I wonder as I wander" & Christmas Shoes are some more of my favorites. All of these songs are some of my favorites - fun and inspirational alike. Hope you enjoy!

I shall be joining the Black Friday crowd in the morning. =) No I haven't lost my mind =p

As the Christmas Season begins, may we not lose sight of the true Meaning of Christmass - our blessed Savior's birth!

I am thankful for...

Technology
While working on my computer at work today I thought of the mother of a lady we met last week. This lady was secretary for 3 schools simultaneously. She retired the day they announced they were getting a computer. Now I understand that to someone who doesn't know how to use it a computer can be intimidating. But the idea of doing my job without my computer is nothing short of mind-boggling. So today I am sincerely thankful for my computers - at home and at work. For they surely make life a ton easier.

I am thankful for...

The Best "BEST" Friends in the World

Over the course of my 28 years my siblings were my closest friends. For whatever reason I never had a lot of girlfriends, and very rarely were they my age. I'm not in any way complaining, just stating =) However...the friends that God DID bring across my path have been incredible. They are friends that I know will be there for me no matter the day, circumstance, or what I might do to irritate them =p Over the last few years I have become convinced of something - True friends are there to believe FOR you and IN you when you might have trouble believing FOR and IN yourself. These ladies have all done this for me. They love me for who I am, even with all my faults and quirks, and loud tendencies, and stubbornness =P You've laughed with me, cried with me, gotten in AND out of trouble with me =p, prayed with me, and loved me. I love you guys dearly, and thank God for your friendships.

My One and Only Sister - she has by far known me the longest, and therefore put up with me the longest. =p And even with a family of her own now, she CHOOSES to be my friend. =)

Blair - She didn't even like me when we first met =p Now we are closer than ever, and we have pretty much adopted her into our family =)

Steph - If I had to name one friend that I just absolutely hit it off with immediately, it would be her. We haven't known each other any more than 5 years, but our hearts bonded for life the moment we met =)

Am - I don't even know where to begin...our friendship only gets stronger with age. We get the privilege of "putting up with each other" 5 days a week, every week =)

Ang - We were friends when life's road took us different directions, then God saw fit to bring us back into each other's lives. Her and I are so different...and yet great together =)

All of these ladies bring something different to the table of my life, and I am so blessed to have them.

And for the "Friend that sticketh closer than a brother" - Jesus - I am truly thankful.

I am thankful for...

My Family

Words cannot express what this group of people means to me. I absolutely LOVE them to death. Everyone always tells us that we have something special in our family. God has blessed me immeasurably with this family of mine. We aren't perfect by any means. But we all love to serve God, and we love each other unconditionally. I could go on and on and on about them. =)

An Awesome Day
It was an incredibly awesome day. Everything went off great. She was shocked. I will post pictures soon =)

Avocados =)
I really, really, really like avocados. I mean REALLY like them. ALMOST as much as I like coffee. Almost. =P
